< PreviousGeneral Information: Our best value application tapes. KleenTear tapes take the hassle out of using transfer tapes. The tapes tear cleanly with no adhesive stringing and if adhesive touches adhesive, then KleenTear tape pulls apart easily with no adhesive damage. KleenTear tapes are ideal when applying graphics wet. Now available in wider widths for digital printers. If you want to just stock one tack then KT50 Medium Tack should be your pick. It removes most lettering from the liner (if you have small matttext then just flip over the vinyl and remove the liner from the application paper) and works beautifully when you are applying wet. Tech Spec: • Available in standard roll lengths of 100yds KLEENTEAR APPLICATION TAPES SIGN MEDIA APPLICATION TAPES KT50 MEDIUM TACK PAPER Our best selling product, KT50 Medium Tack will work with almost any vinyl graphic image. Our 0.55mm self-adhesive magnetic material is supplied in convenient 1M wide rolls. This is a non-printable magnetic backing sheet onto which the ‘quick-change’ printable ferrous products such as our FCP200 are positioned. Use 0.55mm magnetic with our printable FCP200 to create ‘quick-change’ graphic solutions that consists of only two key parts: Part 1. A permanent ‘magnetic wall’ made of our 0.55mm self-adhesive magnetic material, which is left in situ Part 2. Changeable graphics made with FCP200 or similar which cling onto the ‘magnetic wall’, and can be changed or replaced as often as your campaign dictates Tech Spec: • Width of 1000mm • Available in standard roll lengths of 20M and ‘buy the metre’ SELF-ADHESIVE WALL MAGNETIC 52General Information: For use as a removable/replaceable sign on vehicles etc. Plasticiser free, with a back coating on the brown side to prevent tarnishing of the painted surface and laminated on the face with a gloss white vinyl. A premium quality magnetic product with a high intensity, multi-pole arrangement, designed to offer superior holding power and shear strength on most metallic surfaces (with minimal dead spots). This product will not dry out or crack. It is designed to be rolled and will provide years of trouble free, low maintenance service if used correctly. Available in two standard gauges: 0.60mm and 0.85mm. The thickness of the magnetic vinyl is directly proportional to the magnetic force of the product. If this product is used on a vehicle, the thicker product (0.85mm) is necessary for safety reasons. Surfaces must be clean before applying. Magnetic material does need special care and attention, so weekly removal and cleaning of the magnetic is recommended. For concave and recessed areas the thicker speciality films should be cut. 2D Generally a conformable polymeric. For convex areas use heat, for concave and recessed areas the film should be cut. 2.5D Conformable thin cast PVC generally 50µ-60µ. The thinner films may whiten if stretched too far. The thicker cast films are still conformable but the texture, heavy flake pattern or gloss level may distort when stretched and heated. For convex, concave and recessed areas use heat and post-heat. 3D Very conformable cast generally 50µ single or 80µ dual layer cast. For convex, concave and recessed areas use heat and post-heat. ‘Solvent permanent’ adhesives Are forgiving at low application temperatures and do not whiten when applied wet and cold. Excellent temperature resistance in service and very durable externally. ‘Permanent clear UV polyacrylate’ adhesives Offer similar performance to ‘solvent permanent’ but without the use of any solvents in the coating process. Very forgiving at low application temperatures, good performance on LSE surfaces and they do not whiten when applied wet and cold. Excellent temperature resistance in service and very durable externally. ‘Acrylic permanent’ adhesive A lower cost version of the ‘solvent permanent’. The adhesive can milk when applied wet and cold and the application temperature range is narrower. ‘Solvent removable’ adhesive A solvent based acrylic adhesive that is more forgiving at low application temperatures and that allows removal of the vinyl from common surfaces without leaving adhesive residue, typically for up to 2 years after application. ‘Removable clear UV polyacrylate’ adhesives Offer similar performance to ‘solvent removable’ but without the use of any solvents in the coating process. Very forgiving at low application temperatures and that allows removal of the vinyl from common surfaces without leaving adhesive residue, typically for up to 2 years after application. ‘Acrylic removable’ adhesive A lower cost version of the ‘solvent removable’ that allows the removal of the vinyl from common surfaces without leaving adhesive residue, typically for up to 1 year after application. The adhesive can milk when applied wet and cold and the application temperature range is narrower. Vertical exposure in the UK. For horizontal exposure (on roofs and bonnets) typically halve the vertical life.
