3M™ Primer 94 can be used to improve vinyl adhesion where vinyl will be stretched or heated into concave areas and for use on complex vehicle contours when using 3M™ Controltac™
WARNING: 3M Primer 94 can increase the possibility of damage to paint when vinyl is removed because it increases adhesion. It is very important to consider this possibility prior to application and follow the guidelines closely. Use very sparingly.
Works best with 3M™ Controltac™ but can be used on other brands of vinyl with lower tack adhesives (it is not recommended for use with Avery or Oracal vinyls as these already have a high tack adhesive).
Bonding surfaces must be clean and dry before the primer is used.
Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water mixture using a clean lint free cloth to wipe the surface prior to application.
