Description

BIOND bio-based laminating films are non-PVC, self-adhesive environmentally sustainable eco-laminates suitable for coverage over all digital inks

The BIOND range of print finishing films are manufactured from sugar cane and are fossil free, chlorine free and plasticiser free.

These non-PVC eco-laminates have a 5 year outdoor life.

The bio content of the film is 90% and CO₂ emissions are 80% lower than PVC alternatives.

It is fire rated with an industry leading A2-s1,d0 classification defining the fire resistance performance as ‘non-combustible and contributes virtually nothing to a fire’ making the polymer out on it’s own with this “A” rating.

BIOND laminates and matched print films are suitable for internal and external graphics on simple curved surfaces, has a similar feel to a PVC film and is also suitable for laminating over UV prints.

There are two laminating films to choose from, a gloss or a matt finish:

A 70µ, 5 year permanent laminating film for prints including UV.
Class A2-S1, d0 fire rated.
